Once construction began, the design team supervised construction and installation of the interiors package.

This is one of the newest additions to the Downtown Concord retail tenants. Designed to appear ‘already there’, the owners are from Argentina and have worked their heritage into the store. The facility is very open with traditional table seating along with couches and casual chairs, and wireless internet access available for patrons. The owners selected Lorenz Architecture based on our experience with historic building renovations and our track record of meeting tight schedules.

This 32,000SF multi-building specialty retail center was funded by a local developer to capitalize on the continuing growth in Concord. In an effort to get the complex constructed as quickly as possible, and to compete with other planed retail centers, the developer chose the design/build method and retained Lorenz Architecture for the design. This selection was based on their reputation as a strong design/build architect and ability to work well with contractors as a team. The exterior of the buildings are red brick with classic accents designed into the complex to support the “Carriage” theme in the centers name. Lorenz is also designing the interior upfits for tenants as they come onboard.

After previous successful projects with the design team at Lorenz Architecture, DR Mozeley Construction Company retained the firm again to serve as the architect for this speculative retail center that will be built via the Design Build method. The project includes the design of a 5000 SF multi-tenant retail center that will be located at a prominent intersection. This is one of several ongoing projects for the team of DR Mozeley and Lorenz Architecture.
