Lorenz Architecture was selected to be the architect for this design/build project to renovate and restore this turn of the century building located in Historic Downtown Concord. The new vision for the City Market Building, as it is known, was for the original exterior to be uncovered and repaired, renovate the street level for retail tenants, and update for code compliance so that the 2nd story could be upfitted for commercial offices. To complete the developer’s vision, Lorenz Architecture developed several innovative solutions so that the upstairs section of the building could serve as attractive, modern office space to commercial clients.
