Searching for a design partner that was committed to the team’s success and had experience designing traditional religious facilities, Lorenz Architecture was chosen to work on this project. We completed a detailed space analysis and program of the church’s needs and designed a facility that would serve the congregation today and be able to grow with them in the future. To give the church a modern exterior, yet one that would blend with its surroundings, a very contemporary and exposed wood structural system was selected for this project. Working closely with the contractor during the design process has enabled the project to remain within the church’s budget, even in this time of escalating construction costs.
